In the mid seventies, and amid a visit to an oil creation office, the late Sheik Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan saw the flaring of related gas into the air and asked how this can be ceased.

This was the foundation against which ADGAS was built up in 1973 to end up the main LNG generation organization in the entire Middle East and North Africa (MENA) locale.
