Duties & Responsibilities: To manage day to day operations of the Finance & Accounts departments. To create and maintain books of accounts, pass proper journal entries, posting them to proper accounts and ensure that the accounting principles and policies are being correctly followed. Making payments for expenses in cash or through checks and online transfers. Managing Petty Cash. To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) through cash / cheque / online transfer. Monitor and follow-up account receivable so that no monies are outstanding for long periods. Ensuring the management of bank accounts including online payments. Coordinating and following up with banks and their Relationship Managers for various banking activities. Making financial budgets and exercising control measures. Maintaining proper files for all document and records of transactions. To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts, including Bank accounts. To periodically prepare various financial reports such as Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements etc.. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data from the generated financial reports. To complete the annual financial reports and coordinate with the auditors for annual audit of the books of accounts.
